Nir Hus, M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Nir Hus is one of South Florida’s most trusted and dedicated general and trauma surgery specialists. As a board-certified general surgeon and wound care specialist, Dr. Hus performs a broad range of surgeries, from minimally invasive complex hernia repairs and advanced laparoscopic surgeries to robotic surgery, chest wall reconstructions and emergent, life-saving major surgeries  for trauma. Dr. Hus is a visionary physician who intertwines his caring, patient-centered approach with his dedication to innovating the field of general surgery through research and bringing  cutting-edge surgical options to his patients.

Joshua Simon, D.O., M.S.

Dr. Joshua Simon is a double board-certified surgeon (in general surgery and critical care/trauma) whose strong commitment to providing exceptional surgical care is only matched by his empathetic bedside manner. A modern physician who employs an old-school touch, Dr. Simon combines his passion for cutting-edge technology with his compassionate care, widely known for his genuine desire to connect with patients and their families. A well-rounded surgeon, Dr. Simon completed a fellowship in trauma and surgical critical care at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey, and is on the clinical faculty for Florida Atlantic College of Medicine’s vascular surgery fellowship. Dr. Simon has widely published peer-reviewed research in the world of trauma and is at the forefront of innovations in the surgical field, including robotic surgery. In addition, he teaches the next generation of physicians through Florida Atlantic College of Medicine and Larkin Community Hospital/NSU College of Medicine, where he serves as an affiliate associate professor of surgery.

GENERAL SURGERY, BARIATRIC AND MINIMALLY INVASIVE SURGERY

Andrew “Andy” O’Neill, M.D.

Dr. Andrew O’Neill graduated from the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University. He then completed his surgical residency at Mountain Area Health Education Center in Asheville, North Carolina. He then completed a one-year fellowship in minimally invasive general surgery at Jackson South Medical Center in Miami, FL. The fellowship involved specialty training in bariatric, laparoscopic, endoscopic and robotic procedures. Today, Dr. O’Neill performs various minimally invasive general surgery procedures, including sleeve gastrectomy for weight loss, as well as colorectal, hernia, biliary and anti-reflux operations. He also provides emergency surgical services to local hospital emergency departments. With a lifelong interest in wellness and overall health, instilled in him from a young age, Dr. O’Neill brings an inspired perspective on health to his practice.
